I like this exercise a lot because children can learn vocabulary of different parts of the body and it is very funny. The image of the task shows all parts of the body at first sight and it is very easy to understand for children. This activity lets children remember the vocabulary easier because they can see each part of body and the place that it belongs. This original way to teach vocabulary helps children to relate concept image with concept definition. I have thought of other exercise that you can add to this task to develop the speaking skills. They can introduce some prepositions at the same time that they learn vocabulary. For example: Children can ask…..where is foot?….and other children can answer… The foot is next to the leg. The foot is near the knee but it is far from the ear. Children can ask ……where is the tongue?.... It is into the mouth. Thus, they can play speaking and asking what they want meanwhile they are learning, therefore they enjoy a lot. You can do a lot of different exercises to motivate them. Also, you can do an exercise to fill gaps with the same image that you use to show each part of the body. The song moves children to learn. It’s great that you have included a print exercise to match the name of the parts of the body with the correspondent images. I will use it with my students!
